The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts for this Monday, December 22, cloudy skies in Lanzarote during the early morning and the first half of the day, **with a low probability of light precipitation.** From the afternoon onwards, cloudiness will tend to decrease, giving way to intervals of few clouds.Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with values ranging between a minimum of 14 degrees and a maximum of 20 degrees. The wind will blow from the northeast, with moderate intensity, although some episodes of strong wind may be recorded on the western slope of the islandLikewise, AEMET has activated the yellow alert for coastal phenomena between 12:00 PM and 11:59 PM. Northwest combined sea is expected with **waves between four and five meters** offshore, so extreme caution is recommended in coastal areas and for maritime activities
