Lanzarote registered its worst figure in the last two weeks this Wednesday, adding 112 positive cases of Covid-19 in one day. In fact, since January 26, 100 daily cases had not been exceeded.
Despite this figure, active cases have fallen again and stand at 2,227, as 352 discharges have also been recorded.
As for the tests carried out, this Tuesday there were 610, compared to the more than a thousand the day before. However, not all the positives reported on this day by the Ministry of Health would come from these tests. According to the data provided by the Ministry, some could come from private laboratories or from cases diagnosed in previous days that had not yet been reported.
The accumulated incidence stands at 182 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days and 473 in 14 days, according to information released by the Ministry of Health.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 18,694 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 16,400 have already overcome the disease and 68 have died.
