Aguas de Lanzarote y La Graciosa, the entity belonging to the island's Water Consortium that manages the supply of both islands, has reported this Tuesday on water cuts in seven towns.

In the municipality of San Bartolomé, the town itself, El Islote, Tomaren, and Güime are suffering water cuts during this day.

For their part, the residents of Tao in the municipality of Teguise also have no supply, just as El Cuchillo and the old town of Tinajo do not either.

The entity has reported on its website that these supply cuts are scheduled from 00:00 hours last night until 23:59 this coming night.

Lanzarote is still in a water emergency situation, which was extended for the third consecutive time recently. This declaration began on January 14, 2025, was extended for the first time for another six months in August 2025, and again in February of this year.
