The César Manrique airport has suffered delays throughout this Saturday. Air Controllers through their X account have shared information from Eurocontrol detailing the existence of delays at Lanzarote airport "due to operation on runway 21, which is more restrictive, and forecast of low visibility."
In addition, the airports of Fuerteventura and Tenerife North have also experienced significant delays in entry and exit operations due to "unfavorable weather en route," sources from Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (AENA) informed La Provincia.
The delays, according to AENA, are being "longer than two hours due to bad weather." AENA has not specified how many flights have entered or left the affected airports with delays, nor the origin or destination of the same.
