Lanzarote adds another 124 positive cases of Covid and reaches 609 active cases

Daily Covid infections continue to rise in Lanzarote, which has added 124 new positives in the last day.

In addition to having broken the record for infections again, the island has also reached 609 active cases, the highest number recorded since the beginning of the pandemic.

The accumulated incidence on the island is already 328.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days and 440.6 in fourteen days

In the last 24 hours, 33 discharges have also been reported, so that 1,637 people have overcome the disease on the island.

Regarding the number of patients admitted to the Molina Orosa Hospital, the Grafcan platform reflects that there are 22 people, although the Ministry of Health itself confirmed this Thursday that there were already 23 hospitalized, of which five were in the ICU.

Lanzarote has already accumulated 2,255 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic, of which nine died.
