Lanzarote has registered 50 positive cases of Covid in the last day, in which 431 discharges have also been reported. The active cases have thus fallen below 3,000 and stand at 2,915 this Friday.
In the last 24 hours, 809 tests were carried out on the island, which is almost double the previous day, when more cases had been reported. Thus, the positivity has decreased again, which is one of the important parameters to measure the evolution and control of the pandemic. In the last 7 days it stands at 12% (of positives per tests performed), but in the worst moments of this sixth wave it exceeded 45%.
The accumulated incidence is also still falling and is at 235 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days and 643 in 14 days.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 18,409 patients have been diagnosed with Covid on the island, of which 15,428 have already overcome the disease and 67 have died, the last one on this day.
