Investigation of a possible case of Indian strain at the General Hospital of Valencia

A woman with symptoms remains admitted and isolated after having contact with her sister, who had just returned from the country

The Ministry of Health of the Valencian Community confirms that it is investigating a possible case of the new Indian variant of the coronavirus in Valencia. Public Health has reported that it is a woman who is admitted and isolated in the General Hospital of Valencia after arriving at the Emergency service with symptoms compatible with the disease and having contact with a person who had traveled to India.

It is her sister who has just returned from the Asian country, so the Ministry of Health is investigating and studying the case in case it could be a contagion by the new Indian strain of the coronavirus. For the moment, the patient's sister is isolated while waiting for more tests.
