The Drag Queen gala returned to the Arrecife Carnival, after a year off due to the coronavirus pandemic. This edition featured the participation of 11 drags, who delighted the public that attended the Arrecife Fairgrounds.
The event began with a performance by the Tania Marcer School of Performing Arts, to give way to the presenter of the gala, the journalist Roberto Herrera.
Drag Franchy Morgana, Drag Luck, Drag Kember, Drag Lemnos, Drag Eros, and Drag Orión were the first six to perform. In addition, of all of them, Drag Luck and Drag Eros performed before their audience, since they are from the Island. Next, Nacha La Macha performed, with two songs.
Drag Los Tacones, Drag Xoul from Lanzarote, Drag Kinegua, Drag Efesto and Drag Acrux were the remaining five performances, which put the finishing touch to the carnival night at the Fairgrounds.
The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, and the councilor of Festivities of the capital's Consistory, Encarna Páez, also wanted to be present at the Drag Queen Gala of the Arrecife Carnival.
