The heat episode that Lanzarote and La Graciosa are experiencing this Tuesday is leaving higher than usual temperatures on both islands exceeding 36 degrees in some areas, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Thus, both islands are under yellow alert for high temperatures, a situation that can leave values of up to 34 degrees or more and which will extend until this Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
Specifically, the town of Haría reached 36.2 degrees at 1:00 p.m., while at 10:00 a.m. the values already reached 33.1.
For its part, in Tías the temperatures are being somewhat lower. At 12:00 p.m., the thermometer registered 31.8 degrees, while at 10:00 a.m. it was already close to 28 degrees.
In other parts of the island, the values are being milder. In Tinajo, for example, the maximum temperature at 1:00 p.m. was 26.2 degrees, according to Aemet.
In addition, La Graciosa has also been on the same line this Tuesday with 25.8 degrees at 12:00 p.m. At the opposite end of the orography, in Playa Blanca, the maximum temperature at 1:00 p.m. has been the same, 25.8 degrees.
