The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands informs that, given the situation of maximum alert due to rain, storms and wind established by the autonomous executive, family visits are restricted in the hospitals of the Canary Health Service in all the islands.

The measure responds to the recommendation of the Government of the Canary Islands to limit mobility as much as possible, as a security measure for the entire population; therefore, from this Saturday and until next Monday, family visits to patients admitted to hospitals are limited only to those people who need 24-hour accompaniment by facultative decision (as in the case of palliative care patients, with advanced disease, AA card holders, pregnant and postpartum women) and minors, only with one companion per patient.
