The Lanzarote Health Area, attached to the Canary Islands Health Service, is organizing a vaccination day without an appointment for this Sunday, August 1, for those residents in the Canary Islands who are 12 years of age or older.

Thus, at the Insular Vaccination Point in the annex of the Valterra Health Center, a maximum quota of 60 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 will be available, which will be administered between 10:00 and 12:00 hours until the supply runs out.

Minors between 12 and 15 years of age must go to the vaccination point accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian and present their DNI / NIE, and they will be administered the corresponding vaccine according to their age group, as established in the Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19.

With this action, the Lanzarote Health Area seeks to speed up the inoculation of vaccines to the population over 12 years of age, in order to continue advancing in the established calendar and reach the goal of having 70 percent of the target population of the Island vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
