The daily positives of Covid have dropped considerably again, with only 38 being reported this Friday, although the tests carried out by the Health Department have also been reduced again. The day before there were only 143, which is half of the previous day and five times less than Monday, when 800 were carried out.
It was that day and the next, with 500 tests carried out, when two new peaks of positives were recorded in Lanzarote, reaching 180 new confirmed cases on Wednesday. However, since then fewer tests have been carried out and fewer positives have also been detected.
In relation to active cases, they have also been considerably reduced in Lanzarote after 162 epidemiological discharges, so the Island currently has 551 patients with coronavirus.
The accumulated incidence is 321.54 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 7 days, and 589.17 at 14.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 20,853 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 20,234 have already overcome the disease and 69 have died.
