The German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, has once again chosen Lanzarote to enjoy Christmas in the warm climate of the island and away from the freezing temperatures of the European continent at this time of year.
Last year, Scholz also spent his Christmas holidays on the island of volcanoes, specifically in the tourist and residential town of Playa Blanca (municipality of Yaiza), in the south of Lanzarote, a destination to which he has returned. The Chancellor is staying in a villa in the same complex in which he stayed in December 2022, near the Pechiguera lighthouse. From the area you can see spectacular views of Fuerteventura.
According to some sources, Scholz arrived in Lanzarote on December 21 and plans to stay, if he does not change his plans, until next Friday, the 29th.
