This Sunday, Francisca Stinga Paíz, mother of the former mayor and current councilor of the Haría City Council, Pepe Torres Stinga, passed away at the age of 105.
Francisca was born on October 4, 1917 in Haría and was the widow of Manuel Torres Berriel, a judicial official. Mother of Manuel Torres Stinga, university professor and head of publications of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Luisa Torres de Stinga, professor of secondary history, and the well-known lawyer and former dean of the Bar Association, Francisco Torres.
The wake will begin at 12:00 and the burial will take place this Monday at 7:00 p.m. in Haría.
