About 60 groups have participated this Monday afternoon in the Arrecife Carnival float parade. From 5:00 p.m., the Vía Medular has been filled with floats and carnival groups that have brought music and color to the city.
The Carnival Queen, Gabriela Mendieta, the new reinona Drag Seltas, the children's queen, Haimara Cabrera, the winning murgas from the different categories, as well as comparsas, batucadas and traditional groups such as Los Buches also participated in the corso.
The carnival procession toured the Vía Medular of the capital, between the Ciudad Deportiva roundabout and the Cabildo roundabout, surrounded by residents of Arrecife and other parts of the island who did not want to miss the parade.
