The bus drivers of Arrecife Bus have paid tribute this Sunday morning to their deceased colleague. The driver Roberto Carlos Pérez died last Thursday, June 29, unexpectedly in Lanzarote.
Due to his death, around a dozen buses have crossed León y Castillo street to pay tribute to this man who was 46 years old and was the father of a small child. Before the eyes of family and friends, his co-workers crossed the avenue and honked the horn when they got close to the crowd of people who were watching the act.
Roberto Carlos Pérez usually drove lines 60, which connects Arrecife with Playa Blanca, and 161, which connects Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca.
His family, colleagues and friends are shocked by his loss and have sealed their farewell with this beautiful tribute.
