The El Cribo Mental Health Association will carry out different events in the week of October 4 to 8, on the occasion of the commemoration of World Mental Health Day, which is celebrated every year on October 10
The week will begin with Open House Days until Friday, with the different workshops of the association in which students from the Altavista and Tinajo Secondary Education Institutes will participate.
On Wednesday, October 6, at 9:30 a.m., there will be "performing arts, clowning, magic and juggling by Extensión Solidaria Festival Titiritías." "At 11:00 a special program of La Ovejita Negra will be broadcast on Radio Insular live, where representatives of the Pro Mental Health Committee, family members and mental health professionals will participate to discuss the theme of this year" Mental Health, a necessary right. On the last day of activities, Friday, October 8, there will be a performance by the Choir "El Cribo Canta", at 7:30 p.m. in the Sociedad Democracia. After finishing, there will be a round table, under the title 'Mental Health in an unequal world', with the intervention of the psychiatrist Julio Santiago, Elisabet Lemos, representative of the Committee in the first person, and the social worker Daisy Villalba.
