The Arrecife City Council informs of the special schedules that the Municipal Urban Bus Service will have during the nights of December 24th and 31st, and in the early morning of January 1st, beginning of the new year 2025.
The Councilor for Transportation and Mobility of Arrecife, Mario González Altube, informs users of urban buses that during the nights of December 24th and 31st, the Municipal Buses of Arrecife will make the last service at 8:00 p.m.
In the early morning of January 1st, the City Council advances the entry into service of the buses, and they will operate from 6:30 a.m. Currently, on holidays, buses circulate from 7:30 a.m.
Premiere of new buses
In these last weeks of 2024, the Department of Transportation and Mobility has premiered two new large buses that will reinforce mobility in the capital of Lanzarote. These buses are powered by electric energy and have automatic ramps that make them accessible for people with reduced mobility or who move on wheelchairs.
As announced by the Municipal Government led by Mayor Yonathan de León, the city of Arrecife will continue to premiere more new buses during 2025, and new changes will be implemented to improve the public transport service in buses in the municipality of Arrecife.
