The sixth wave of Covid continues to plague Lanzarote, which this Wednesday has registered a new peak, with 92 positives confirmed in a single day. This is the worst data in 8 days and the second worst in the last three weeks.
In addition, for the first time in several days, the number of active cases counted by Health has increased again, as there have been more positives than discharges. Specifically, the reported discharges have been 67, so the active cases have risen to 433.
In relation to the number of tests carried out in Lanzarote, on Tuesday a total of 448 were carried out. This figure is lower than that registered the previous day, when 511 were carried out.
The accumulated incidence stands at 146.97 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at 7 days and 347.86 at 14 days.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 19,069 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on the island, of which 18,568 have already overcome the disease and 69 have died.
