The union also calls for "prudence" while investigating whether this vaccine had anything to do with the cerebral hemorrhage, but asks for a "specific follow-up" for all vaccinated officials.

Covid-19 Vaccination in Lanzarote

The Independent Trade Union and Civil Servants (CSIF) has regretted the death this Tuesday of a teacher in Marbella (Málaga) and has demanded from the administrations "transparency and clear information on the vaccination processes with the AstraZeneca version."

However, the union at the same time makes "a call for prudence, because the relationship that may exist between the AstraZeneca vaccine and the side effects detected in this and other cases is still being investigated."

According to the EFE agency, the deceased teacher was 43 years old and began to feel ill from the day after receiving the vaccine. Initially they indicated that they could be normal side effects, but days later she returned to the doctor with severe headaches, and ended up dying this Tuesday after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.

While it is being investigated whether the vaccine really had anything to do with her death, CSIF is asking the health administration for "specific monitoring for public employees already vaccinated, especially with the AstraZeneca batch related to thrombi." Given that this vaccine was not being used for people over 55 years of age, it has been the most used in essential public workers who have been given priority in the order of vaccination.
