The crosswind that has reigned on the island for a few days is having a special impact on the Lanzarote airport.
This Monday the cameras of Lanzarotewebcam captured the moment in which an airplane frustrated the landing, "engine and into the air due to crosswind at the end of runway 21" explained the air controllers in their Twitter account."
It is a procedure that crews apply when they consider that the landing will not be 100% safe. Later it landed without problems", they have added the hashtag #SafetyFirst,( safety first).
The aircraft belongs to the Ryanair company and came from the Bergamo airport in Milan. Finally, it landed at 10.48 hours.
