The company in charge of water management in Lanzarote, Canal Gestión, has reported this Tuesday morning about more supply cuts on the island. Specifically, there are five municipalities in Lanzarote that are experiencing a supply interruption in some of their towns. This is reported through its website.
In the northern part of the island, the towns of Haría and Guinate do not have water this Tuesday. It should be remembered that last Monday, Máguez also had no supply.
In addition, Canal Gestión has announced water cuts in Los Valles in Teguise; as well as in the towns of El Cuchillo, La Costa and Tajaste in Tinajo. To which is added the town of San Bartolomé that also has no supply.
Meanwhile, in the south of the island the towns of Tegoyo and Tías are also without water.
In addition to this, Canal Gestión also closes the supplies for a few hours at night in the areas with the lowest water demand, "to minimally recover the deposits, reactivating the service in the first hours of the day."
In addition, there are other incidents due to "small breakdowns and scheduled maneuvers that could cause momentary alterations in the supply of specific streets."
