The sculpture "César's Gaze" is now installed on the maritime avenue of Arrecife.
This Friday saw the placement and inauguration of the sculpture by Manolo González, which was funded thanks to "citizen, business and institutional donations."
“César's Gaze” shows the creator sitting in the center of a window shaped like an eye, a metaphor for "his clear gaze, his visionary spirit and his innovative character."
The work is a sample of the recognition of the people of Lanzarote to those who redesigned the island "from respect for its nature", and who also transformed its future forever.
