The Jameos del Agua Auditorium will host the benefit concert of Barrios Orquestados. It will be this coming Sunday, December 4, starting at 7:00 p.m.

The young students from the capital's neighborhoods of Argana and Altavista will take to the stage of the volcanic tube to show all the knowledge learned during the course. They will be accompanied by the choir formed by their families and the artists Luisa Machado and Alberto Méndez, two of the most consolidated and recognized voices of Canarian popular music, who did not want to miss the opportunity to share their music in what promises to be a magical and emotional evening.

The CEO of the Tourist Centers, Benjamín Perdomo, encourages the island's population to enjoy "this magnificent opportunity to support this social project that turns music into a solid pillar in early childhood education."

Those interested in accompanying the young musicians of Barrios Orquestados can purchase their tickets here.

The proceeds obtained will be entirely allocated to the Barrios Orquestados project.

Barrios Orquestados is an educational project that aims to create string orchestras (violins, violas, cellos and double basses) in all the peripheral neighborhoods of the islands of Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, which have special needs at a social and cultural level.
