The Board of Directors of the Negotiating Table Association for the homes of Rocar, Garavilla and Ojeda has expressed its deepest condolences to the family of a resident of the 70 homes in Valterra, who died without being able to see her dream of legalizing the ownership of her house come true. The deceased, whose identity has not been revealed, had been part of the association since 2012 and "always demonstrated a firm commitment in the fight to regularize the ownership of the homes in the name of their legitimate owners."

In a statement, the association blamed the president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, and the councilor Miguel Ángel Jiménez, accusing them of "apathy and incompetence." According to the organization, the lack of action by the authorities has caused residents like her to die without resolving a situation that affects dozens of families.

"She was the legitimate owner of one of the 70 homes in Valterra, but she has died without being able to realize her dream of legalizing the ownership of her house," the association lamented. This sad event has revived the demands of the community, which demands urgent solutions and justice for those who have been waiting for their rights for years.

The association has asked for respect and solidarity for the family in this moment of mourning, while reiterating its commitment to "continue fighting for the rights of all affected residents." (R.I.P.)
