A person has been evacuated this Saturday for presenting symptoms compatible with covid-19 in La Graciosa, according to Emerlan. According to the NGO, the Cecoes has activated the coronavirus protocol, an ambulance has transferred the 54-year-old woman to the dock and there the ES-11 Emerlan GES boat has gone to carry out the evacuation from the Graciosa dock to Órzola.
This is the second time that a patient has been evacuated with suspicion of having Covid-19. The other time occurred on Saturday, May 30 when a man was transferred to Molina Orosa with symptoms that finally tested negative after performing the tests. La Graciosa is the only island in the archipelago that has not registered cases of Covid-19 and is currently in phase three of the de-escalation.
