A family celebration has been the origin of an important outbreak of covid in La Graciosa. The first to be registered on the Eighth Island.
According to reports from the island's Health Management, there are already three confirmed positives, which in turn has led to the confinement of another 46 people as close contacts. These 46 people are waiting to undergo PCR tests and must be quarantined for at least ten days.
La Graciosa registered the first positive case of covid on July 29, 2020. It was a tourist from Catalonia.
