The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow warning for coastal phenomena in Lanzarote for this Wednesday and Thursday. The alert will begin at 3:00 p.m. this Wednesday and is scheduled to be deactivated on Friday, January 20 at 6:00 a.m.
According to Aemet's forecasts, a combined sea from the north of four to five meters is expected on the island.
Wednesday and Thursday
For Wednesday, cloudy skies are expected with clearings at noon and weak and occasional rains, which may be locally moderate and will subside at the end of the day. Temperatures will range between 14 and 22°C and a north wind will arrive that will turn to the northeast at noon and intensify, with a low probability of locally very strong gusts at the end.
On Thursday, cloudy intervals will continue. No major changes in temperature are expected, as it will range between 14 and 21°C, and the wind will slightly change direction, as it is expected to come from the northeast of moderate to strong component.
