About 2,000 people enjoyed the Tinajo Carnival bullring on Saturday afternoon. The cold was the protagonist of this day, although it did not prevent many residents from coming to experience the last festival of Don Carnal.

In addition to the bullring, the Plaza de San Roque de Tinajo hosted the open-air dance on Saturday, which was "very crowded", according to Councilor Antonio Morales. More than 6,000 people gathered in this place to dance until after 4 in the morning.

Around 1 a.m., the square was full of people, many of whom had been enjoying the daytime Carnival in Costa Teguise and later decided to go to the Tinajo open-air dance.

The negative note of the night came with a couple of "lawsuits" that occurred during the open-air dance, although none were serious. After consuming alcohol, several minors got into a fight, which did not go further due to the "rapid intervention" of the Local Police of Tinajo and the Civil Guard who were watching the open-air dance, according to the City Council.

"They solved it on the spot and nothing happened, no one was injured," said Antonio Morales.
