S Moda magazine of the newspaper El País published this Wednesday an interview with Anna Barber, a woman from Lanzarote who lives in New York and who leads the footwear division of Marc Jacobs. "Working with Marc Jacobs was the dream of my life," she tells this magazine.
According to S Moda, Anna Barber trained in Madrid, at the Higher Center for Fashion Design of the Polytechnic, and after that she moved to New York, where she did internships at DKNY, went through firms such as Jason Wu, Michael Kors or the defunct second line Marc by Marc Jacobs, and ended up at Calvin Klein.
"I've worked hard to get here," says the Lanzarote native to S Moda, after having come to work for Marc Jacobs. In addition, in her interview, Anna Barber explains that, for her designs, she is inspired above all when she comes to Lanzarote.
