A total of 13 candidates will compete this Friday for the title of Miss Yaiza 2012. The election gala will take place on the esplanade of the port of Playa Blanca at 9:30 p.m. The music and dance show directed by choreographer Ruymán Medina foresees a parade of the young women in casual clothes, another in a bikini and the last in an evening dress.
The thirteen aspirants are Nora Pérez Albujar (19 years old), Acoraida Umpiérrez Viñoly (17 years old), Alejandra Jaramillo Agudelo (18 years old), Jennifer Jaén Cabrera (19 years old), Isabela Trujillos Vargas (18 years old), Laura de La Flor Calvillo (28 years old), Yraya González López (16 years old), Naiara Bellio López (17 years old), Cristina Jaén Machín (19 years old), Atteneri de Agustín Lemes (18 years old), Yuliany Santana Díaz (19 years old), Alicia Montano Centurión (17 years old) and Cristina Simone (18 years old).
In the first parade, the misses will wear summer outfits. This choreography does not score towards the final decision of the jury. The second outing consists of two parts, a parade in a bikini in which each girl will try to convince the jury with her qualities on the catwalk and another in which they will be accompanied by extras for the development of a musical montage.
The closing will simulate the appearance of the young women, dressed in evening gowns, in the structure of a palace. The Fashion Mod Dance School and the Lanzarote comedian Kike Pérez will participate in the Miss Yaiza election gala.
