Maritime Rescue rescued a small boat with 56 people on board early this Thursday morning, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
Among the occupants of the boat were 50 men, five women and one minor, all of sub-Saharan origin. After being transferred to Puerto Naos, they have been attended by the Red Cross and none of them have been transferred to Molina Orosa.
With this, there are already six boats that have arrived on the island this week. This Wednesday a boat with 66 people was rescued and on Tuesday there were four. In total, 332 migrants were traveling in those boats.
