A small boat reached land in the early hours of this Friday in the Órzola area, as reported by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium. The boat was intercepted at around 05.45 hours, when the Red Cross was alerted to provide service.
As confirmed by the Red Cross, there were 14 people on board the boat, of Maghrebi origin, including a woman. All have arrived in good health, so no sanitary transfer has been necessary.
Apparently, more people have arrived in the boat and have left the place on their own, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
Also, agents of the Local Police and Civil Guard have moved to the area.
