The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for this weekend in Lanzarote cooler temperatures and rains that could leave up to 15 mm of accumulated precipitation in one hour, so the yellow warning has been activated. In addition, it is not ruled out that they will be accompanied by hail.
Aemet informs that the DANA will enter through the northeast of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, and the probability that this episode will occur is high. Likewise, the Government of the Canary Islands has declared the pre-alert for this situation in which the rains may be locally strong or stormy.
For Saturday, skies with cloudy intervals are expected, except in the north, where it will be cloudy during the night hours and when it is expected to start raining. Aemet has activated the yellow warning for rain in Lanzarote from 9:00 p.m. to 11:59 a.m. on Sunday.
As for temperatures, they will experience a slight decrease, more pronounced in the maximums in the western area of Lanzarote, with minimums of 16 degrees and maximums between 18 and 20. The wind will be moderate from the northeast, strong occasionally on the east and west coasts.
For its part, on Sunday there will be cloudy intervals that will leave rain during the morning. The minimum temperatures will drop and will be between 13 and 14 degrees, while the maximums will reach between 20 and 21 degrees. The wind will blow from weak to moderate from the northeast.
