A boat rescued near the coast of Lanzarote

54 people were traveling in the boat, including two women and three minors

Maritime Rescue has rescued this Wednesday morning a boat located 40 miles east of Arrecife, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.

54 people were traveling in the pneumatic boat. Among them, 49 men, two women and three minors, of sub-Saharan and Maghreb origin.

After arriving at the Arrecife Commercial pier, the Red Cross has reported that all the occupants of the boat were in good health, except for one person who had minor burns.

Therefore, no migrant has needed to be transferred to a hospital.
