A boat has arrived on its own means this Tuesday at the Playa de Los Charcos in Costa Teguise, according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES). The boat has arrived on the coastline at 11.17 hours, when 1-1-2 alerted of its arrival after a call made by a private individual.

According to the Emergency Consortium, 48 people of Maghrebi and sub-Saharan origin were traveling in the boat, including 36 men, two women and ten minors (nine boys and one girl), all in apparent good health.

After organizing a device, the Red Cross volunteers, the Civil Guard, the Teguise Local Police and personnel from the Canary Health Service (SUC), have moved to the beach to assist the newcomers.
