A 77-year-old woman with Covid dies in Lanzarote

She was admitted to the ICU of the Molina Orosa Hospital and her death raises the number of deaths to 46 since the start of the pandemic

Lanzarote has added a new death from Covid, that of a 77-year-old woman, with previous pathologies, who was admitted to the ICU of the Molina Orosa Hospital. 

With this, the number of deaths on the island since the start of the pandemic rises to 46, of which 37 have occurred during the third wave. 

After the death of this woman, there are seven patients with coronavirus hospitalized in the ICU of the Molina Orosa Hospital. For its part, in the Covid ward there are six people, one more than in the previous day.

In the non-Covid ICU, where there are also patients who were initially admitted for coronavirus but have already tested negative, there are still four patients.
