Several companies from Lanzarote have responded to the request of an Emergency nurse from the Molina Orosa Hospital, Yoné Caraballo, who, given the lack of masks, requested personal protective screens to provide greater security to certain professionals.
The response was immediate and in a few days several companies have turned to the development of different protection systems, including 3D screens and also handmade masks. In this regard, Caraballo clarifies that these are not approved systems, although he emphasizes that given the state of alarm and the health crisis in which the country finds itself, it is necessary to respond to the needs with the resources that exist.
Among the people who have joined this solidarity initiative are David and Carlos, from Lpa Brokers 3D, who are manufacturing a hundred of these materials. In addition, Yoné Caraballo has also thanked the work being done by Informática Lanzarote, Juanón, solidarity masks, Infonet and the Telegram group "Lanzarote FAB-COV19".
