Maritime Rescue has disembarked in Lanzarote in the last hours 152 occupants of three inflatable boats, to which have been added another twenty people who have reached the island on their own aboard another, as detailed this Monday to EFE sources from the state society.

The first boat, occupied by 45 people of sub-Saharan origin, all males, was located by the Helimer 205 at 23.25 hours last Sunday when sailing about 105 kilometers from Arrecife, where they were disembarked at 03.42 hours by the crew of the Salvamar Alnair.

The Guardamar Polimnia has subsequently taken over the rescue of 51 Moroccans (34 males and 17 minors) and 46 people of the same origin (42 men, three women and one minor), who were sailing in separate inflatable boats at 18 and 74 kilometers northeast of Órzola, respectively, and who were detected from the air by the Helimer 205 and the Sasemar 102.

All of them were taken from that location, north of Lanzarote, to the Commercial dock of Arrecife, in the capital of the island. In addition, in the early hours of this Monday to the town of Órzola, in the municipality of Haría, north of Lanzarote, arrived on their own a fourth expedition composed of twenty people of Moroccan origin.
