The cameras of Lanzarote Webcam captured on the night of this Saturday, July 11, an unusual scene in the vicinity of the platform of the César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport, where a runaway tire crossed part of the operational area, forcing several vehicles to intervene to avoid possible risks.
In the images, released by Lanzarote Webcam through its social networks, it is observed how the tire rolls freely on the platform while two vehicles try to intercept it before it could reach an airplane, another service vehicle, or even someone working in the area.
For the moment, the origin of the wheel and the circumstances in which it ended up moving uncontrollably through the airport premises are unknown. Lanzarote Webcam has indicated that, for now, they do not have more information about the incident.
