The firefighters of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium returned from the National Traffic Accident Rescue and Trauma Meeting (ENRATT) with the third prize in technical equipment and in indeterminate maneuver, in addition to fourth place in the general classification.
The president of the Security and Emergency Consortium, Francisco J. Aparicio, assured that the firefighters "have shown that they are capable of resolving complicated situations in traffic accidents." "Without a doubt, our team has always measured up in complex situations, which always has an impact on saving lives," he asserted.
The Lanzarote firefighters performed two indeterminate maneuvers - in one of which they won third place - in addition to participating in a trauma exercise. "We were satisfied above all because the firefighters gave the best of themselves," said Aparicio, who was present in Cartagena together with the manager, Enrique Espinosa.
The team that represented Lanzarote in Cartagena was made up of firefighters Chedey Tanausú Rodríguez Quintero, Rubén Tomás Guerra Rodríguez, Roberto Iván Betancort Corujo, Yoné Echedey Martín Fernández, Acaymo José Rodríguez Quintero and Néstor Crespo Rodríguez.
"Now, after these practical exercises, our firefighters will continue to ensure the safety of all citizens of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, through rapid actions that will always seek to safeguard the well-being of all," concluded the president of the Security and Emergency Consortium, Francisco J. Aparicio.
