The 2024 Latin Grammys have nominated the Canary Island talent of the 'conejero' producer Ale Acosta and the singer Valeria Castro from La Palma for their single La ceniza, in the category 'Best Latin Electronic Music Interpretation'. To the island duo is added the nomination of Quevedo for his hit Columbia in the category of 'Best Urban Song' and a long list of Spanish candidates such as C.Tangana, David Bisbal, Rozalén or Iñigo Quintero.

"I'm still in shock. Valeria called me this morning to tell me because she had just seen it. She said, 'Ale, what is this? I can't believe it'", says Acosta. The producer received the news almost first thing in the morning, from the singer-songwriter from La Palma, when he was in the middle of rehearsals for his next concert this Saturday, September 21 for the San Miguel Tribu Festival in Burgos.
