The Cabildo de Lanzarote's Road Service, which reports to the Public Works area headed by Councilor Jacobo Medina, announces the closure of the LZ-10 road (Curvas de Malpaso) throughout Saturday.

The reason for this closure is the specific landslide caused by the rains this Saturday, which has caused some stones to be on the road surface.

“Our obligation is to guarantee the safety of all drivers on our island and, in collaboration with the Security and Emergency Consortium, we will work as quickly as possible to reopen this road as soon as possible,” Medina asserted.

The Cabildo de Lanzarote apologizes to the citizens who may be affected by this closure, and requests that the provisional signage be respected.
