More than a sum of projects, the Líneas Romero Foundation has built in recent months a common thread that unites sustainability, inclusion and emotional health. Each action has a purpose: to strengthen the social and ecological fabric of the territory. This approach aligns with the Foundation's three strategic lines: Innovation and Human Capital, Health and Community, and Environmental Sustainability.

In March, this vision became tangible in La Graciosa, where students and families experienced an environmental immersion thanks to the Uni Planet 2025 project. A day that not only taught ecology, but also reconnected the participants with the value of simplicity: the sea, the land and life in community.

April was the month of great commitments. Together with the Nos Movemos Foundation, Transformative Mobility: Land, Sea and Air was launched, a roadmap to rethink transport on the islands from sustainability and accessibility. That same month, La Graciosa was also a refuge for several families within the Descansa Project in collaboration with Kilómetros por Sonrisas and Canaryfly, which provides disconnection and joy to children undergoing medical treatment.

In May, emotion and creativity took center stage. The second session of the Avante Project offered cancer patients a therapeutic painting workshop at the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, in collaboration with the AECC. An activity that went beyond art to become a space for collective healing.

Environmental action was not left behind: a coastal cleanup day with Caixabank employees put into practice the commitment to the oceans. In addition, the agreement with the Asociación Pequeño Valiente was renewed, which allows us to continue supporting Casa Pipa, a temporary home for children with cancer displaced to Gran Canaria.

And as a finishing touch to the commitment to inclusion, the Foundation has joined the Contramapas project, a walking journey from La Graciosa to El Hierro that unites heritage, diversity and active listening along the GR131 trail.

“We believe in a Canary Islands that leaves no one behind and that protects what makes it unique: its people and its nature,” they say from the Foundation.

This commitment has been reinforced with the adhesion of the Líneas Romero Foundation to the Canary Islands Network of Corporate Social Responsibility, promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands. In addition, the Foundation actively participated in the commemoration of the Day of Social Responsibility, held on April 23 at the Elder Museum in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, consolidating its role as an agent of change in the social and business fabric of the islands.

And while closing this intense first semester, the Foundation is already working on new alliances, training actions and participatory projects to continue transforming the territory during the second half of the year. Because the future is also taken care of from today.
