Despite the fact that summer ended on September 22nd, the heat and haze are resisting leaving Lanzarote and the rest of the archipelago. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this situation will continue throughout this week, at least until Thursday.
For this same Monday, the forecast points to cloudy intervals during the first half of the day, with a low probability of occasional rain, tending to be little cloudy in the afternoon. Furthermore, it is not ruled out that they may be accompanied by some storm in the early morning. There will be haze at altitude, which will decrease.
Minimum temperatures will be slightly to moderately decreasing and maximums with little change, so they will be between 23 and 30 degrees. The wind will blow lightly from the east, with breezes in the afternoon.
For its part, on Tuesday there will be generally little cloudy or clear skies, with some cloudy intervals in the early morning hours. Light haze at altitude will continue and temperatures will have little change, with minimums between 21 and 23 degrees and maximums of 30, especially in inland areas. The wind will blow lightly from the east, with breezes in the afternoon. Late in the day it will turn north and increase to moderate.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, haze at altitude will continue to make its presence felt and temperatures will again be around 30 degrees maximum. As for Thursday, the forecast will be similar, light haze at altitude and temperatures that will drop slightly. Even so, values of up to 30 degrees are expected in inland areas facing south.
