The Island Council of Lanzarote has submitted to public information and hearing process the file to declare as Asset of Insular Interest the Church of San Marcial and its movable property, the Femés Cemetery, the Casa del Romero, the Parish House, the square and the so-called Aljibe del Santo in Yaiza. Specifically, it would be protected in the category of Historical Site.

In addition, it has also publicized the declaration as BIC, in the category of Monument, of the property located on the Islote de La Fermina in Arrecife.

Both initiatives were promoted in 2022, by the then CEO of Historical Heritage.

Now, from its publication in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) you can consult the file for the next 20 days. In addition, the hearing process will begin simultaneously. Any natural or legal person may access said file.
