The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, in collaboration with the Lanzarote Health Area, gave a training session last Tuesday on PAS (Prevent, Alert, Help) behaviors to young people who are part of the Training Program in Alternation with Employment (PFAE) of the municipality of Tías.

The day, in which about thirty students from the PFAE participated, was taught by Bejamín Nieves, technician of the Canarian Health Service, and also included the participation of the president of the Consortium, Francisco Aparicio, who took the opportunity to highlight the importance of this initiative.

"This training is crucial to equip our young people with skills that can make a difference in critical situations. From the Consortium we firmly believe that preparing citizens is investing in the safety of all,” said Aparicio.

With this proposal, the body responsible for security in Lanzarote not only tries to transmit technical knowledge to citizens, but also seeks to reinforce values such as responsibility and commitment to the community.
