The television program En boca de todos on Cuatro made a mistake this week that we Canarians are more than used to: confusing the islands. In this case, in one of the videos that was broadcast to explain the characteristics of the Royal Residence of La Mareta, they placed this enclave on the island of Fuerteventura.
As La Voz published, the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, is already enjoying his vacation in La Mareta since last Saturday to spend the summer on the island, as he has done since 2020 with his family.
In addition to the geographical error, the editor who was reporting the news was wrong when saying the name of the municipality where the residence is located. Instead of saying Teguise, the journalist said "Teguiste", adding another mistake to the audiovisual piece.
