The Cabildo of Lanzarote published this Monday in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC), which submits to a public information phase the declaration of Taro de Tahíche as an Asset of Cultural Interest. This space houses the headquarters of the César Manrique Foundation in the municipality of Teguise. This declaration would be framed within the category of Monument.

In addition, the process to declare César Manrique's house in the town of Haría as an Asset of Cultural Interest, also in the category of Monument, has continued.

Both processes were born in the last legislature, by the CEO of Historical Heritage who decided to initiate the file to declare the Taro de Tahíche and the house of César Manrique in Haría as BIC.

Currently and for the next 20 days it will be in the process of hearing and in the process of public information. So that any public, physical or legal person can examine the file.
