On the eve of the Christmas holidays, the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe has organized a charity market that can be visited until this Friday from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and on Thursday also in the afternoon from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. The proceeds, thanks to the sale of donated products, will go to different NGOs.
Among those that will receive the proceeds are: 'ASEDA', (Solidarity Association for Education and Sport in Africa), 'AFOL', (Association of Oncohematological Families of Lanzarote) and the Association for Reception and Risk Prevention 'Calor y Café'. In addition, in the market located in the lobby and cafeteria area of the center, there is a table where fourth-year ESO students offer various products to finance the end-of-year trip.
Highlighting the presence of two guest entities: the 'Flora Acoge' Foundation and the 'Pequeño Valiente' Foundation. And as every year, the 'Solidarity Basket 2023' will be raffled on Friday, December 22, with the purpose of contributing to raise funds for the end-of-year trip of the fourth-year ESO students.
With this initiative, the Blas Cabrera Felipe Institute extends an invitation to visit this pre-Christmas market (in the lobby of the center located on Avenida Alcalde Ginés de la Hoz, 57 in Arrecife) and to celebrate these holidays in a more solidarity and sustainable way.
